What started with a passion for trekking and outdoor exploration gradually evolved into a community-driven adventure platform focused on safer, more meaningful, and responsibly curated mountain experiences.

Over the years, Trekaholics has led journeys across the Himalayas and Western Ghats — from beginner-friendly trails and leisure escapes to high-altitude treks and technical expeditions. But beyond the summits, our focus has always remained on people, safety, learning, and the spirit of exploration.

Paras Aggarwal

Paras Aggarwal

Director & Founder, Operations, Logistics & Planning, Finance

Paras Aggarwal is Passionate Mountaineer by choice. Although he studied his world through the Lens of Technology by pursuing Bachelors of Computer Applications from Delhi & subsequently Masters of Computer Applications from Kurukshetra University. Soon after completing his Post Graduation, he opted for Adventure Sports after being in mountains since 2016 which eventually led him to Mountaineering. Paras started his Mountaineering Journey from (NIMAS) National Institute of Mountaineering & Allied Sports, Dirang by enrolling into Basic Mountaineering. Subsequently in 2023, he got certified for Advanced Mountaineering Course from Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling. To further enhance his skills & Experience with exposure, he got certified as a Search & Rescue in 2024 from Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. With an extensive experience of more than 7 years, he has also led a number of groups to the various regions of Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim & others.

Shantanu Kanchan is a Businessman by profession & Mountaineer by Hobby. He started his journey in 2015 by enrolling into Basic Mountaineering Course from (JIM) Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering, Pahalgam. Finding inspiration from the course, he started his Venture Trekaholics with a small Trek in Sahyadri. Later he got certified for Advance Mountaineering Course from (HMI) Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling. Shantanu Kanchan enrolled for Diploma in Civil Engineering from MIT, Pune apart from being a Mountaineer. Apart from being a Mountaineer, he has a lot of Knowledge about Modern farming & techniques.

Trek/Expedition Lead

Lokesh Singh Panwar is an Adventure Enthusiast that led him into Mountaineering. His experience & Expertise are way beyond our imagination. Although he has a lot of Certifications & qualifications but what sets him apart is his Asia Book of record for Highest Waterfall rappelling. He is Basic Mountaineering Course, Advanced Mountaineering Course, Search & rescue & Basic Kayaking Course Qualified. He has also been a member of Expedition organized by Indian Mountaineering Foundation on multiple occasions. His exceptional achievement involves Train the Trainer Course. His Experience has been rewarding for Trekaholics since its inception.
